YOUNHA DISCOGRAPHY COMPLETE

Birth Name: 고윤하 (Go, Younha)

Born: April 29, 1988

Origin: Seoul, South Korea

Born in South Korea to music loving parents, Younha began to play the piano at the age of 4. She developed an interest in Japanese Drama and began to teach herself Japanese. Before long, she was skilled enough to interpret to her school friends what would happen on Japanese television. What began as an interest in Japanese dramas developed into an interest in Japanese music. At the recommendation of an older student in her school’s broadcasting club, she listened to such artists as Utada Hikaru and Misia and soon began to like Japanese music. Younha began to dream about debuting as singer alongside her favorite artists. In order to realize her dream, she began to seek out auditions within Korea. She claimed that she went through as many as 20 auditions. She also commented in her interview that certain companies refused to sign her to their labels because they believed she was not “pretty” enough, although she sang pretty well. At one audition, she made an overwhelming impression and signed a contract with a Korean company. Soon after, Younha’s voice was heard by a company in Japan. In order to make her childhood dream of debuting in Japan come true, Younha underwent recording while going back and forth between Korea and Japan. Quickly, Younha’s Japanese skills advanced so much that she surprised even the staff around her. In October of that same year, she debuted with her official first single, “Yubikiri -Japanese version” and has been releasing singles and albums ever since. (Courtesy of Wikipedia.com)

BONNIE PINK // Thinking Out Loud Final at NBK , 2007 tour (Video File and Audio Rip)

Here is a performance by BONNIE PINK from her Thinking Out Loud tour. I was a little bit nervous about this being aired on TV because it is called the “Final at NBK” which is also the title of her DVD. So I was disappointed that what was on the DVD will be aired ahead of time. Turns out that the set lists are different, but the order of the tracks seems very similar plus or minus certain ones. So, it might be the same performance and they just cut out some songs from the TV airing, but the thing is that some songs that were shown on TV are NOT on the DVD. So, I don’t know what to make of this @_@.

The performance was really good! She sang really well, especially considering her vocal style which must be hard to maintain for such a long performance. The music was really good also. I’m not so familiar with all her music as I am with say, Tokyo Jihen’s, so I can’t really note the particulars but the arrangements were pretty much the same, or at least had the same feel, but with several new sounds or instruments added throughout. You really see how rich her music, so many people on stage making everything you hear, it’s amazing.

I split the video into several parts for convenience so you have to download all the parts and then use WinRAR to unzip them. When you have them all in the same folder, open up the “part 1″ file and it will unpack the whole file in one piece for you. They are 150 mb each, except part 7 which is about 100 mb. The video looks really good, and it’s a good resolution also. For some reason, though, my pc won’t let me see the statistics for the file so I can’t be specific. Just know that its worth every MB ^_^. Runtime is an hour and 22 minutes. Here are the links for the video:
